What principles, values or ways from our experiences shape how we view and deal with equity?

Nau mai, haere mai - Welcome to our new folk.

Thank you to those who joined us for our very first cup of tea session in support of our goal of 100,000 cups! We had a total of seven cups, and nine new registrations. We hope to increase our cup of tea count each week and offer a welcoming space for you to pop in and out of.

The Next Cuppa - Yarns about Equity

We're excited to kick off our connecting and collaborating efforts by sharing our new pathway, which focuses on Equity as a Process. To begin, we want to pose a question as a starting point for our next session.

A Definition of Equity

One starting point could be hearing how each of us defines equity and to take some time in understanding the principles, values, or experiences that influence our perspectives on dealing with equity. We'll take the time to discuss the following question and then come back to the group to share one key point to add to our Miro board.

Question: How do you define equity, and what do you believe it should achieve?
