Dave Goddard led a varied life before facilitating change management through the Walk Together process and program. Born in Narrogin in rural Western Australia, sport and music (singer-guitarist) dominated Dave’s youth. He represented his State in Australian Rules football and cricket at junior levels and played both at high levels as an adult. As a singer guitarist, he spent two years working in Asia and the South Pacific on hotels, nightclubs and on cruise ships. Between youth and adulthood, he graduated as a physical education teacher, became a District High School and Primary School principal, became a District Director of Education on the Kimberley Region of the state, and then studied at the University of Western Australia to achieve a Ph.D. Dave’s work provides outstanding examples of what can be achieved from “working in the intercultural space.
