100,000 Cups of Tea symbolises the power of collective sense-making. We learned a lot about the power of a humble cup of tea and the value of time spent connecting and sharing experiences.

As we take this analogy and apply it to creating systems that work for everyone, we are reminded that slowing down and having considered facilitated conversations is a value we can learn from Indigenous cultures. Instead of rushing to meet deadlines and outcomes, we make time for planned and resourced strategic think-time and for connected contemplation, and reflection through collaboration.

The mission

We invite you to join us in our mission to share 1,000, 10,000, and ultimately 100,000 cups of tea.

In these conversations (or ‘yarns’) we invite people to explore the question, ‘'what would the future look like if our systems were working for everyone'?

The vision

Through these conversations we can start to break down persistent challenges and barriers we experience when dealing with systemic change. Our aim is to create opportunities for people to connect to begin to envision new possibilities for justice, equity, co-governance, shared decision-making, and more.
