Evalesi is a māmā, sociologist, linguist, community leader, author and migration researcher who works with diverse communities across West Auckland and the wider region.   She is passionate about community-led change, indigenous knowledge systems and collaborative partnerships.   Her journey to Walk Together began in 2024 when she enrolled in the System Navigators programme and learned practical ways to co-create systemic change with community groups and individuals.
